Butterfly Walk

April 23, 2016:  On this beautiful Saturday morning, we took a stroll up Middle Ridge in search of butterflies enjoying the warm, sunny day. Led by avid birder and butterfly enthusiast, Gary Meredith, we saw and identified twelve different species of butterflies including the California Sister, the Behr’s metalmark, and the common buckeye.  We also got to see a variety of different insect and bird species along the way.  Thank you Gary, for volunteering to lead us on this amazing walk.
