Coyotes, Shooting Stars and other Tales of the Old West Walk

January 11, 2014   This past Saturday’s Coyotes, Shooting Stars and other Tales of the Old West Walk was educational and fun!   Docent Michael Lindsay touched on topics ranging from western expansion…to Native Americans, cattle and horse history, coyote migration, identification of local plants and much more!  It was a journey back in time which related to current events as well.   This debut walk gave us many subjects to ponder and was a wonderful way to start out the day.
