Hunt for Hearts in Nature

February 14, 2013:  Valentine’s Day was made special with a morning “Hunt for Hearts in Nature” program.  All along the Gato Trail hikers looked for natural heart shaped items…and many were found in leaves, rocks, moss and branches.  Someone even found a heart in the wood on the Eagle Scout bridge to the Sister Oak.   This walk was a great way to celebrate the beauty and wonder of nature on the wild side.
