January’s Mushroom Walk

January 19, 2014:  With the lack of rain, we were worried there would be no fungi to find on January’s Mushroom Walk.  But that wasn’t the case.  Gregg Miller did a wonderful job as leader and identified mushrooms, showed how to look for evidence of mushrooms, taught natural history lessons, mushroom lore, and talked about the science of fungi in general.  It was a beautiful day out in the wildlands.
