December’s Astronomy Night

December 15, 2012: Despite cloudy skies and cold temperatures participants huddled together for December’s Astronomy Night. Jupiter made an appearance and participants were able to see the planets stripes and moons. However, the real “star” of the show was volunteer astronomer, Avinash. When visibility was limited, Avinash, entertained everyone with an educational slideshow. The presentation included photographs and information about star clusters, nebulas, black holes and much more!
