Sept.10, 2016 Our Moon: Its Origin and Features
0 Comment
Spencer Murray, Volunteer astronomer, provided wonderful information on the origins and features of the moon. After the presentation we went to look through the telescopes to see what we had just learned. We saw the highlands, maria and craters. Afterwards we saw many other objects as well like the planets Saturn and Mars and the pretty blue and yellow double star Alberio as well as nebula. It was a beautiful, clear evening for moon gazing. Thank you to all of our volunteers: Spencer, James, Gary, Ray, Andy, Jean and John making this a fun and informative event!
