North Ridge Hike
February 7, 2016: Sunday’s North Ridge Hike presented hikers with magnificent views of sunlit hillsides, early blooming wildflowers and clear blue skies. The energetic group trekked almost 4 miles of Reserve trails where they were met with aromas of fragrant sages, vibrant wildflowers and crunchy, fallen Sycamore leaves beneath their feet. During a short stop at Wilson’s Camp participants enjoyed sitting beneath the canopy of oaks and visiting the monument honoring the vaquero. This steady-paced hike left everyone feeling refreshed and energized.
