Oct. 10, 2015 Astronomy night

We had clear skies for our astronomy event Saturday evening. It was a balmy night and we were just able to view a fuzzy Saturn briefly in the telescopes before it set below the hills. Later we saw some shooting stars, Neptune, Uranus and Messier Objects including the Dumbbell Nebula, Andromeda Galaxy and the Pleiades . The milky way was in site looking like steam coming from the Teapot of Sagittarius constellation. Thank you to all of our volunteers for providing their expertise and equipment: Mike, Gary, James, Keith, Spencer, Rob, Andy and for Kayla who helped with the cookie table.
