November 2, 2013 Astronomy Night

We had a very nice astronomy night last Saturday! It was a bit damp by the end of the event but everyone had a good time! Over 30 people joined us to see Venus, , the Milky Way, many constellations and the stories behind them, Ring Nebula, bi-colored dual stars, a few globular clusters plus much more. Mike gave the star tour including funny jokes by both he and Avi.  Everyone enjoyed cookies and hot cocoa as the night went on. The volunteers who help are fantastic!! Thanks to Mike, Lola, Gary, James, Avi, Mark, Keith, Duana and Rich we couldn’t do these events without your help!!
