Frogs and Toads, Amazing Amphibians
March 6 & 8, 2013: Light rains and muddy puddles were the perfect set up for venturing out onto The Reserve in search of frogs and toads. With biologist Ruben Ramirez as our guide, participants enjoyed a misty and slightly rainy evening looking and listening for frogs and toads out on The Reserve. The frog and toad walk was the perfect complement to the previous Wednesday evening’s lecture entitled “Frogs and Toads: Orange County’s Amazing Amphibians”. The lecture was also led by Ruben, who not only showed great pictures of these amazing amphibians, but also brought live frogs and toads for everyone to see up close.
