Bird Walk at Horno Basin

July 26, 2014   July’s Bird Walk at Horno Basin in Ladera Ranch was lots of fun.  Bird expert Anita Hayworth helped identify each bird while teaching about their characteristics and different calls. We saw 28 bird species and added 3 new birds to our Horno Basin list – Black-headed Grosbeak, Blue Grosbeak…and a Least Bell’s Vireo!
