Earth Day Fun Run on The Reserve

Celebrate Earth Day and give back to nature with a Fun Run on the beautiful trails of The Reserve! All proceeds benefit The Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo school programs, community outreach, and on-site educational and recreational programs.

All donations are tax deductible and all participants receive a Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo bandana, native wildflower seed packets, and more. Choose from multiple races and race times. Number of spaces limited per race time to allow for distancing.

5K Fun Run Information:
This run will take place on the Middle Ridge and Gato Road trails on The Reserve. The route is on a dirt road with some good hills in the beginning and more gradual decline toward the end. The hills offer spectacular views the saddleback mountains and Pacific ocean. Grasslands, oak trees, and wildflowers are found along the route. So whether you run and hike this event, be sure to take a breather and enjoy the view. See here for an elevation profile.

1K Fun Run Information:
This out and back road provides great views of the grass covered hills of The Ranch and Reserve. This race is great for families and includes a “Family Rate” to allow for up to five individuals from your household to participate at a discounted price. Individual racers may bring a non-participant for free. Kids under 12 can bring and ride non-motorized bikes or scooters on this route. See here for an elevation profile.

IMPORTANT Registration and Safety Precautions:
– Masks/face coverings required to have with you all times and must be worn if within 6 feet of others who are not in the same household. No mesh masks.
– Physical distancing of at least 6 feet must be maintained from those not in the same household.
– Participants must sign a release waiver.
