Travel back in time and find out what The Nature Reserve was like thousands and thousands of years ago! Get in touch with your inner archaeologist and learn about some of the tools and techniques used by the Acjachemen and other indigenous groups that made this area their home. Make a bullroarer, learn how a fire bow works, and other traditional skills. Travel back even farther and take on the role of a paleontologist to learn about the prehistoric animals that roamed Southern California before any humans set foot here.

Campers embark on this nature adventure as they explore trails, outdoor play areas, trees, and more! Daily camp topics are reinforced through games, art projects, and hands-on activities. In addition to scheduled activities, campers are given supervised free time to experience nature on their own.
